1. Base Layer - A base layer is an insulating layer worn
2 D- z+ c2 l( j) C3 Hnext to your skin. Base layers help regulate your body

skin. This layer should fit snugly and retain some
. M, H& E g1 Yinsulating properties.
9 v/ B* Y2 v5 k8 G2. Mid Layer - The purpose of the mid-layer is to
8 A" d% l3 z& u+ E1 `capture warmth through trapped air. Typically a mid-layer5 K1 {3 G2 S1 p! L* S! y
is a fleece or a thick wool layer.
* Q) A$ d2 m- _9 g9 p# p* _5 ]When preparing for a trip to Snow Valley it is advised that students

There are 3 layers to consider:
+ m0 g' R( w2 Q c: n) iItems NOT to bring: Denim of any kind, Knit Mittens or Ankle Socks
4 n* L+ o! ^ ?, e3 TAccessories: Hand / Foot Warmers, Lip Balm & Sunscreen X1 f7 d7 c# h9 E5 o
- Gloves or Mittens (two pairs, in case one gets wet)
* R9 G" J; F8 ]; I+ g8 c( `- Knee High Ski Socks, plus a spare# f7 H/ d, W0 M* a: Y5 `" L# c( `
3. Insulation Layer - An insulated and waterproof ski- a. G0 a' R2 j6 z6 x G
jacket and pants provide warmth and allow students

Tip: If you dress in layers, you can always remove a layer if you get hot.
