Essential Responsibilities:+ o2 y" g" k, b4 o- H
+ Z+ C( B/ u/ h
PLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems., m; ^$ E3 w: V& F. E5 T
Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks./ O; T6 N2 b8 v1 [6 \9 i; z' W, K0 F
Read and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.2 I+ Q' `% s' N& X
Collaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
; U# B3 n. j3 j7 ^% n `" zInterpret and follow contract and customer specifications
, _& u# f8 B1 r: X# b6 |! }Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.
: t+ j* |0 G( Z C6 i: \Manage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.3 r, M. H. Z+ q7 v
Lead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed4 b H+ b+ W/ @' ^- ^# V
Communicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences
+ ?) o5 ]( T& r/ aProvide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution
8 J) S4 E! r9 i" pWork with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed3 {0 e& {- S0 {5 A p
Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.
8 A0 K, y: i5 B$ h' b6 g3 {3 KExecute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)- R6 i! H9 S2 s9 A& U
Participate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed( S" c0 c* @7 h" Z3 u7 s6 I* B9 o7 S
Work with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing' J/ l j2 m6 e/ Q
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure: a+ W$ a `$ N) U
Occasional domestic travel (~15%) for client meetings or customer site visits.7 t7 \- Z2 ~2 C$ q; S H$ y0 w1 M) h

2 T) R- Y3 M! |8 mBachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College
; X) S- \% Z0 n( B* F7 OTwo to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.. L0 u: p9 P" n, Y! K7 e
Automation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)% j. M4 J) A; k; [/ G1 r* S! ^
Experience interpreting process control documents.- J* w! C+ o- E, y1 U% q) z
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities
* W: p v7 b3 R2 G3 L1 Q# y0 n8 n5 WProven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards1 W8 W+ B- A2 z) K- i; M$ K
Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies) ^$ |, b; M9 U) Y% ^2 x/ E% d& M [
Valid passport and driver's license.

Strong focus on customer relationships (external/internal). Understands balance between customer and teams

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.2 c6 V) g* T" l% e
Mechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)& |5 ^# K5 d" N f' _: c* E2 v
Electrical experience particularly with electrical panels and water treatment equipment1 m9 u8 P! H9 T$ _0 F' m
Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents
" H, Z9 A7 ]/ G; O+ ?$ z! R7 tAbility to quickly shift focus from one technical issue to another while maintaining commitment to accuracy and precision
7 O6 h3 q8 i4 GAbility to schedule, prioritize and manage numerous projects simultaneously
