! s" V5 _, Q# V- d3 LThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:
1 H; v9 J ?! Q; V* F! n- T7 k* w# v9 X
Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials5 C8 z: a* U# d$ i: e; ^$ U
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials* x; Q' g2 G. _& v
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
9 m8 J) } N$ l% T9 l6 wMust be able to work safely at all times
0 N% i9 g6 ~' E, W4 lBe able to effectively perform tasks independently& K+ g8 R% o" g6 I4 K; ]5 U' I% z( w
Performs routine housekeeping.
8 }# ~) G) m" }1 h! ?8 H6 qObserves and reports any safety issues
1 m C7 X9 ^- S7 a1 }) X- kOther duties may be assigned

Job Qualifications:

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset
' `5 t8 x1 D9 M" L q; r9 xExperience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting1 b3 o3 a8 ` N5 @* h2 f) O3 M
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
: W) s2 A! B$ G! o& Z/ f4 lHigh school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization. g% u3 w( I% f: T3 O0 E j
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
